What It’s Like Working With Us
If you decide to work with a professional from our team after your free session, here’s what you can expect.
1. Matching
We start by meeting with you one-on-one to match you with a licensed mental health professional you feel comfortable with.
2. Sessions
You’ll meet with them one to four times per month — it’s up to you how often — to work through the challenges you’re facing.
3. Progress
You’ll leave each session knowing what you can do about the challenges you’re facing and with a plan for how you’ll do it in your specific situation.
4. Check-Ins
Your mental health professional will check in between sessions to help you stay on track, but you can always reach out if you ever need anything.
5. Community
We have a private community and weekly live events where you can connect with others who understand what it’s like to experience narcissistic abuse.
Who You’ll Be Working With
This is how we select the mental health professionals who join our team.
1. Qualifications
All of our mental health professionals hold a master’s degree in psychology and have at least five years of experience with narcissistic abuse recovery.
2. Screening
They go through a series of interviews so we can evaluate their clinical skills, ethics, and understanding of narcissistic abuse.
3. Training
If selected, they participate in monthly group training sessions to deepen their understanding of narcissistic abuse recovery.
4. Feedback
After sessions and support groups, we send feedback forms to help us continuously improve the quality of care we provide.
What People Are Saying
After each session, people are invited to share feedback about their experience. Our mental health professionals currently average a 4.87 out of 5 rating.

“You struck a great balance of listening and taking the time to get to know me, while also challenging me in ways that help me grow.”

“I liked how genuine and present you were. It never felt like you were just doing a job, it felt like you were in it with me.”

“You were so compassionate and non-judgmental, I didn’t feel like I had to hide or hold anything back to be believed.”

“It meant a lot that you always asked for feedback and used it to make changes that helped me feel more supported and understood.”

“You didn’t just jump in with advice or your opinion. You took the time to listen and think before responding, and that made me feel respected.”

“The way you responded when we saw things differently was always gentle and respectful. It never felt like you were trying to prove me wrong.”
