5 Lessons from a Narcissist
Hi, it’s Juliana!
I’m sharing these lessons in hopes they help you feel seen, give you strength, and remind you that you’re not alone.
They come from members of our community.
They make kindness feel like a weakness—the more compassion you show, the more they take advantage, teaching you to second-guess your goodwill.
They train you to crave their approval—you start tailoring your words, actions, and thoughts to avoid their criticism until you hardly recognize yourself.
They turn joy into a competition—your happiness or success feels like a challenge to them, and they subtly tear it down to keep the spotlight on themselves.
They make boundaries feel selfish—any attempt to protect your time, space, or peace is met with guilt-tripping and anger until you question if you even deserve boundaries at all.
They leave a mark on how you see yourself—their words and judgments linger in your mind, shaping your self-worth and planting seeds of self-doubt that are hard to shake.
If you ever have questions, need support, or just want to talk, feel free to reply to this email.
I’m here for you. 💙
All the best,
Juliana
