“I don’t know who I am or what I want anymore.”

“I don’t know who I am or what I want anymore.”

We often lose touch with ourselves in narcissistic environments because we go into survival mode, looking outward for threats instead of inward for truth.

This can cause you to not really know who you are or what you want outside of the environment.

To begin reconnecting with yourself try the “What Do I Like?” Reflection:

Once a day, write down one thing you GENUINELY like—a song, a color, a meal, or anything else that comes to mind.

The purpose of this exercise is to collect as much data as you can about yourself so when you do begin rebuilding, you have an idea where to start.

It is okay if you are unsure of what to write or if it feels hard. This is about self-exploration, not about perfection.

All the best,

Juliana
