Dr. Ché Hurt Ward, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Hurt is a Clinical Psychologist, licensed in Florida and North Carolina, and a relationship coach for clients worldwide. She achieved her doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) in 2014 from Wright State University and completed her postdoctoral residency at Palm Beach County Youth Services in Palm Beach, Florida.

Her training and research have spanned from helping teenage mothers in foster care learn to adequately parent, to identity development in women suffering skin color discrimination, to substance dependence and narcissistic abuse.

During her years working with inpatient clients in recovery from substance dependence, Dr Hurt’s research on codependence led to the creation of her program Relationship Recovery.  Based on the 12-step model for counteracting codependence, Dr Hurt developed a program which helps survivors of narcissistic abuse and toxic relationships learn to heal, reengage in healthy relationships, identify the triggers and nuances of toxic interactions, and prevent themselves from becoming the toxic partner.

Her book “Quick Chats” helps partners dive deeper into the real questions which build a stronger bond and brings relationships closer is available at https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/quick-chats-ch-raquel-hurt-psyd/1142674084.
