Gina Polesetsky is an LMFT in California with a background in trauma-informed care including specialties in EMDR, Gottman Couples Therapy, and ACT. She has been featured in articles on addressing narcissism in relationships for Women’s Health Magazine and is the past president of an organization dedicated to combatting violence, sexual assault, and sexual harassment through the development of healthy relationships, empowerment, and boundary setting.

Much of her practice is focused on working with trauma processing and skills building through, and in recovery from, narcissistic, interpersonal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. Gina draws from her experience as a Latina woman in a multicultural marriage, a person who has lived through childhood trauma and survived a narcissistic relationship, who has experienced divorce and single motherhood raising a neurodivergent child, as well as remarriage and the beautiful complications of being a stepparent and co-creating a blended family.

Gina steps into the therapeutic space with a warm heart, an open mind and a passion for the resiliency of the human spirit, and views therapy as an opportunity to discover and strengthen the coping skills that help us navigate the ebb and flow of life, while taking the time to examine what is and isn’t working for us personally and in our relationships.
