Kathryn Leachman, LPC-S, NCC, CCTP is a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor with over eight years of experience.  She has extensive experience with a variety of issues, including narcissistic abuse recovery.  Since Kathryn is, herself, a survivor of narcissistic abuse, she has found success in helping others in their own recovery and survivorship.  Kathryn has compassion, understanding, and empathy for anyone who has experienced the impact of narcissistic abuse. 

Kathryn earned a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Louisiana Tech University.  After graduation, she moved to New Orleans to pursue licensure.  She has experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds.  Kathryn received extensive training in trauma and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.  Additionally, Kathryn completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and has a passion for mind-body work.  She is currently working towards certification in Somatic Experiencing through the Somatic Experiencing Institute.  

Kathryn has a private practice located in New Orleans, LA and can see clients, in person or telehealth, who are located in Louisiana.  She strives to honor each person’s unique life experience by tailoring her clinical approach to best meet individual needs. She enjoys getting to know each person and assisting them in recognizing and utilizing their strengths to enhance their skills and their resiliency.
