Nzinga Cates is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in helping victims of narcissistic abuse. As a survivor of parental narcissistic abuse and PTSD herself, it became her mission to spread the word and help other survivors find their voice. Through her virtual practice, Cates Counseling and Consulting, Nzinga provides clients therapy and psychoeducation for those suffering from PTSD and the pain of choosing no contact with a parent for the preservation of their mental health. Nzinga is the author of What Happens in This House: A Memoir of Strength. The story follows her journey from growing up with a narcissistic mother and abusive father to finding love, peace, and positive parenting. She is also pursuing her Doctorate degree in Forensic Psychology with a specialty in Victimology.
