Your Needs Matter

When you have a narcissist in your life, you often begin consciously or unconsciously neglecting your needs to avoid their abuse.

This habit doesn’t just disappear on its own — it follows you around until you address it.

One way you can do this is by intentionally fulfilling one of your own needs every day.

For example, if you’re at a party and feeling really hungry, take the last slice of pizza.

This might feel uncomfortable or even selfish at first, but that’s because you’re not used to prioritizing yourself.

The more you do it, the more natural it will become — and over time, it will help you come to terms with the fact that your needs are just as important as everyone else’s.

All the best,

Juliana
