More Information About the Host & Monica Amorosi

The host, Juliana Akin, is a co-founder of Unfilteredd, a lawyer, and a survivor of narcissistic abuse. She creates content about narcissism and narcissistic abuse to share her personal experiences with healing because she hopes that by sharing her journey, she can help you navigate yours.

Monica Amorosi is a licensed psychotherapist and has experience working with the full spectrum of interpersonal violence. In her initial clinical work, she provided treatment to adult perpetrators of abuse, giving her insight into what drives abusive or narcissistic behaviors. Over time, her work shifted to address complex trauma for the most vulnerable victims of abuse. She has helped people escape violent situations, establish better functioning, and work towards rebuilding a healthy life after abuse.
